HSE Policy

Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) is regarded as one of the key subject areas in our company and is thus given careful consideration throughout the organization.

The HSE policy states that AGS shall be committed to focus on and give priority to HSE matters in all our operations, for all our personnel and on all our units and premises. We shall provide a safe working environment, prevent injuries and ill health, reduce the environmental impact of our operations and strive to continuously improve our HSE performance.

We achieve this by:

Identifying all HSE risks and implementing their respective countermeasures as far as reasonably practicable. Continual improvement of our Management System developed in compliance with relevant international standards and HSE regulations.

Establishing annual HSE goals and programs to manage and improve our performance – Ensuring that we have competent and sufficient human resources, Influencing the knowledge, values, norms, ideas, and attitudes of our personnel, in order to improve the HSE culture within the company.

We also provide the most current training and information to all of our employees. At the start of each project it is first assessed for safety, health, and environmental hazards, and then a training matrix is developed. Every crew member receives safety instruction, which requires a demonstration of competence after each training session.

Examples of ongoing training are:

  • Hazard Communication
  • Lockout/Tag out
  • Personal Protection Equipment
  • Fire Fighting
  • Defensive Driving
  • Drug & Alcohol
  • Emergency Action Planning
  • First Aid/CPR
